Because of April's
gorgeous cocoa skin, I can go all out with concealer. As long as the color
is correct, black skin can take a lot of highlighting and shading. This
is the secret to fabulous make-up for a black woman. Beat that face! In
other words, really blend and press when you apply your concealer, so
that it becomes a PART of your skin (not just ON your skin). Using a latex
sponge, press in as you apply the concealer under your eyes, on the sides
of the nose, at the pocket of the chin (under your bottom lip), and a
smidge on the forehead between your eyebrows. Here, you can see the dimension
of April's face has changed since THE NAKED FACE.
