For women of color, choosing eyeshadow color can be very tricky. Light colors tend to turn a funky gray on the eye, and it just isn't pretty! So, be careful when selecting your eye shadows for your wedding day. Now, using a very neutral shadow, go over the whole eye. I love a copper shadow on the lid, just to pump up the volume a bit. But, remember… blend, blend, and blend! This way, the color is there, but it's not screaming "look at me!" On the bone of her eye under the brow, I use a smoky brown, with the ever-so-slight hint of purple. It's that depth thing again!
